Huntsville Girls Hockey Association annual general meeting will we held May 4th 7pm in the Active Living Centre

Want to get more involved? Can you spare approximately 1-3 hours/month? Want to help shape the future of female hockey in your community? Here is your chance to join the HGHA board of directors… AND the board would be delighted to welcome new members!!

How to join the board:
show up for the meeting, let members know you want to be nominated to the board
nominations are taken from the floor during the AGM-the chair will ask for a seconder for your nomination
the board shall consist of a maximum of 10 directors, voting will occur if there are more than 10 nominees
all director positions are voted on every year

possible roles/duties- President (must have minimum 1 year experience as an HGHA director), Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Registrar, Tournament Director, Volunteers/Fundraising, Equipment Manager, Health and Safety, Ice Scheduler, Referee Scheduler, Junior Rep, Senior Rep

Can’t make the meeting but still wat to be a director?
Please email hgha@hotmail.ca to let us know by May 4th 5pm, and the chair will present your nomination at the AGM
