Coach and Bench Staff Registration Process - Uploading Your VSC

UPLOADING YOUR VSC and COMPLETING YOUR DECLARATION - All Staff

SCREENING & DECLARATION PROCESS

All staff (including all Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Trainers, Managers, Dressing Room Monitors and On-Ice Instructors) who will be on the ice, bench, or in a dressing room at any time need to submit a clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) through OHF's Screening and Declaration Submission Portal.

FAQ ABOUT VSC'S AND DECLARATIONS:

• VSC's are valid for 3 years from the date of issue but you will need to submit a Declaration each year. If your VSC was issued in 2024, 2025 or 2026 and was uploaded through OHF Submission Portal, you will only require a Declaration.
• If your VSC was issued in 2023 or earlier, you will require a new VSC.
• You can check the status of your VSC in your Spordle account if you have one.
• ALL Staff must complete a NEW Declaration for the season (you must do this every year)

If you are uploading your VSC and completing your Declaration, please click this link for instructions with pictures on how to complete this.

• If you only need to complete your Declaration you can follow the following steps but instead select "No" on question #8, continue through answering the rest of the questions and then click SUBMIT
• If you applied for a new VSC - If you don't have your VSC back, upload your receipt instead. You will be given a "Pending" status. You can be rostered with a Pending status. Once your VSC comes in you will need to use the same link and upload your VSC.
